Bluebirds are known for their gorgeous coloring and sweet song.  Not long ago they almost faced extinction.  Thankfully kindhearted people have worked to provide nesting boxes so that bluebirds could flourish, and their numbers have rebounded.  From the bluebirds, we learn to always make space for happiness, or it will tend to disappear!  May the bluebird of happiness always reside within you.

This class includes everything you see.  We’ll start the class by showing you how to age the wood using glass paint. You will need to choose which style bluebird you want below when you sign up.  The custom oak stands are made with reclaimed wood and are especially rustic for this piece.

Cost includes 8x8 Base glass, 3x4 fence post, a custom-made bluebird, green leaves, scrap glass for flowers, embellishments, kiln firing, and a reclaimed rustic oak stand sealed with linseed oil.  Not included: If you want a different glass for the fence post you will need to purchase it.  If you want 2 bluebirds you will need to purchase the extra one letting us know ahead of time so we can have it ready for you.

Bring:  glasses. No shorts or open-toed shoes.
